Amherst Youth Soccer Association 2008 SUMMER SOCCER CAMP Director: Christopher Streeter AYSA Director of Coaching Assistant Coach – UMASS Women’s Soccer
WEEK #1: Monday, July 21 – Friday, July 25 WEEK #2: Monday, July 28 – Friday August, 1 Location: Crocker Farm School Fields (Route 116) Format and Times: Ages 5 through 8: 9:00 AM – 12 NOON Ages 9 through 12: NOON – 3:00 PM Cost: $125 per week **“Drop-in” to any age appropriate session for $25 if unable to commit for the week** **AYSA summer soccer camp is open to soccer players from ALL communities**
General Curriculum: The primary focus of the AYSA summer soccer camp will be fun! After all, soccer is just a game. Players will be participating in a variety of exercises, games, fitness techniques, contests, scrimmages, and skills. Equipment: Balls, cones, and scrimmage jerseys will be provided. However, all campers are asked to arrive at camp with a ball. In addition, all campers need to bring cleats and/or sneakers, shin guards, two pairs of socks, shorts, t-shirts, sweatshirt, and water/juice. Campers will receive AYSA Summer Soccer Camp t-shirt! Staff: Director: “Coach Chris” is the Director of Coaching for Amherst Youth Soccer. He is also the Assistant Coach of Women’s Soccer at UMASS. He has played professionally for the Western Massachusetts Pioneers and the Massachusetts Twisters of the AISL. He has previously coached at Bay Path College, Mount Holyoke College, and Westfield State College. He holds an MS in Sport Psychology and Exercise Science and an Advanced National License from the NSCAA.
Other staff will include local college coaches, college players, and high school players. Refund Policy Withdraw on or before June 1: Full refund (minus non-refundable $25 admin fee) Withdraw on or before July 1: 50% refund (minus non-refundable $25 admin fee) Withdraw after July 1: No refund offered
