REGISTRATION for AYSA RECREATIONAL LEAGUE

Fall, 2010

Recreational League play for Fall Season starts on Saturday, September 11, 2010. The last play date for the Fall Recreational League season is scheduled for Saturday, November 13.

Beginning Monday June 14, registration for all grades for Recreational League will be open  on line via SportsPilot, our on line registration system. PLEASE NOTE, THAT ALL DIVISIONS INCLUDING THE MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL DIVISIONS, MUST REGISTER BEFORE THE SEASON STARTS. ALL TEAMS WILL BE ASSIGNED BEFORE THE SEASON BEGINS (THERE WILL BE NO ON FIELD REGISTRATION OR TEAM ASSIGNMENT FOR THE OLDER DIVISIONS AS HAS HAPPENED IN THE PAST). You may indicate a request for placement on teams by school, friend, or coach (assuming the coach is going to coach this fall) and we will do our best to honor requests but requests cannot be guaranteed.

The preferred method of payment is by credit card. You may pay by check (NO money orders) by selecting that option on the checkout page but your registration may be delayed by up to two weeks. All payments must be received within 10 days or registration will be cancelled.

If you are requesting the reduced fee, you must pay by check (NO money orders) and we must receive your check and the required documentation within 10 days of registering on line.

Late registration begins on Monday August 16 (an additional fee of $10 is charged). Late registrations will be placed on teams on a space-available basis only. Players are urged to register early as space will be limited. Registration closes for all grades on Friday, September 3.

Registration Fee for Recreational League is $75.00 (a reduced fee is charged to those qualifying for the school lunch program). In addition, the Town of Amherst is charging a $5 field use fee to all registrants. Payment for all fees is assessed at the checkout page of the on-line registration. For those who qualify for school lunch fee reductions, the registration fee will be $43 plus the $5 Field Fee required by the Town of Amherst. You must submit school lunch documentation according to the directions on the checkout page at registration to receive this discount. The late fee will also apply to those who register on or after August 16.


 Team Assignment and Notifications: 

*Teams are formed under the direction of the AYSA Board of Directors. click here for information

* Players will be contacted by a coach or by mail. Rosters will be posted on the web site by September 7.

* All assignments are final.  Changes considered only for players placed at the wrong grade level, girls requesting the all-girls program placed in coed, and coaches’ children not placed on the coach's team.

*Refunds will be issued to those who choose not to play.  Refunds are issued for the amount of the registration fee minus the LSSE handling fee and the MYSA insurance fee.   Request a refund by e-mailing AYSA (click here: mailto:AYSA ) and including your child's name, your address, phone number, grade and league (Rec/Travel, Co-ed/Girls).  


Travel League Registration is done through the Travel Coaches.

The Amherst Youth Soccer Program is NOT an LSSE managed program.
