CAMP IS OPEN TO PLAYER FROM ALL COMMUNITIES
DATES: Week #1: Monday, June 28 – Friday July 2 Week #2: Monday July 26 – Friday July 30
Location: Crocker Farm School Fields, Amherst, MA (Route 116)
Format and Times:
Full Day Camper: Ages 8 through 12 ONLY: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Half Day Camper: Ages 5 through 7: 9:00 AM – 11:45 AM ONLY Ages 8 through 12: 9:00AM to 11:45AM or 12 NOON to 3:00 PM
Costs: $125 per week for half day $200 per week for full day
“Drop-in” costs per day: Half Day Camper: $25 Full Day Camper (8-12 y/o only): $50 General Curriculum: The primary focus of the AYSA summer soccer camp will be fun! After all, soccer is just a game. Players will be participating in a variety of exercises, games, fitness techniques, contests, scrimmages, and skills.
Equipment: Balls, cones, goals, and scrimmage jerseys will be provided. However, all campers are asked to arrive at camp with a ball. In addition, all campers need to bring cleats and/or sneakers, shin guards, two pairs of socks, shorts, t-shirts, snacks, and water or juice. Full day campers will need a bag lunch.
Staff: Director: Coach Streeter is the Director of Coaching for Amherst Youth Soccer. He is also the Head Coach of Men’s Soccer at the Elms College. He has played professionally for the Western Massachusetts Pioneers and the Massachusetts Twisters. He holds an MS in Sport Psychology and an Advanced National License from the NSCAA. Other staff will include Elms College players, UMASS players, and local varsity ARHS players.
Inclement weather policy: In most cases, we will play in the rain. Should the weather become overwhelming, or thunderstorms appear in the area, we will wait it out inside Crocker Farm School and will resume camp once the weather clears.
